If your answer to any or all of these questions is YES, why not volunteer as a “community columnist” for your school or neighborhood. Our community columnists report on everyday news about the people in the community: Which families just moved in, who’s getting married or adding to their family, what youngsters are hitting homeruns, earning scholarships, making Eagle Scout, winning pageants, or joining the cheerleading squad. It’s a great opportunity for you to meet people and become more involved in the community. No previous writing experience is required. Whether you’re a student, retiree, a soccer mom, a small business owner, or 9-to-5’er in search of an extra hobby, we want to hear from you.
